YES! I want to help meet the unexpected financial needs of Village Missionaries through the Helping Fund.

The Helping Fund assists Village Missionaries in times of unusual financial stress. In most instances the help is needed due to additional health expenses. This fund has been a blessing and encouragement to many missionary families over the years. A few testimonies are shared below. Thank you for helping Village Missionaries when they need it the most.

Josh Gard - Beaver, OR

Last year our family was struggling under the weight of medical bills. Our daughter was diagnosed with a combination of birth disorders that required many preventative tests. It was a very stressful time with two hour trips to the doctor, sometimes twice a week. The bills piled up on top of everything else. To top things off, our taxes came out much higher than expected while, at the same time, a large amount of expected income failed to come. With all of these things piling up, it was a huge relief and blessing to recieve aid from the Mission's helping fund. It was such a blessing to have that source of stress removed while helping our daughter. We praise God for providing for us through this fund and thank everyone who gives to it. Our daughter is also doing well - she is healthy and active. Thank you again to everyone who has given to this fund.

The Helping Fund has helped us out with dental bills for our oldest daughter when she had her wisdom teeth taken out & for medical bills for her when she fell off her horse because she was no longer covered by our medical insurance. We are very thankful for the financial help given to us from the Helping Fund.

My husband Tom needed extensive dental work done. The helping fund helped pay for him to fly to the states twice to get the work done by our mission dentist. 2 other men helped with the expenses and we PTL that the entire cost was covered. This expense was still only half of what it would have been if we had gotten the work done in Canada. We would have had no other way to pay for this as we do not have insurance for dental.

We have several children in our family and our two oldest needed braces to help bring in a new tooth. Our daughter was taken care of by a very gracious orthodontist. When our oldest son needed the same work done, the Helping Fund came helped us tremendously. We thank the LORD for His provision and the generosity of others.

This is the first time in 15 years that we have had to request the Helping Fund for aid, but we have been in the midst of some very significant dental bills. The Helping Fund has been able to alleviate a significant part of the burden already, and we have been told should be able to help some more as we incur the rest of the bills. We are very thankful for those who have contributed to this aspect of the ministry of Village Missions.
